10. University Open to all Classes, Castes, Colour, Creed and Gender.
- The University shall be open to all persons irrespective of class, caste, colour and creed or gender :Provided that nothing in this section shall be deemed to prevent the University from making special provisions for admission to students of the State of Uttarakhand :Provided further that nothing in this section shall be deemed to require the University or Constituent Colleges or Regional Centre, Study Centre and Career Academy Centre to admit in any course of study a larger number of students than may be determined by the Statutes.
