Section 2(1)(r) in Tamil Nadu Sugarcane (Regulation of Purchase Price) Act, 2018

(r)"sugarcane grower" means a person who cultivates sugarcane intended for sale to a factory whether by himself or by his servants or by hired labour or by members of his family or his tenants, and includes a Co-operative Society registered under the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 30 of 1983);
