9. Secretary, other officers and staff of Lokayukta.
(1)There shall be a Secretary to the Lokayukta not below the rank of Deputy Secretary to Government, who shall be appointed by the Chairperson from a panel of names sent by the Government.(2)There shall be a Director of Inquiry not below the rank of Deputy Secretary to Government, who shall be appointed by the Chairperson from a panel of names sent by the Government.(3)The appointment of officers and staff of the Lokayukta shall be made as may be required for smooth functioning, by the Government and as may be prescribed.(4)The conditions of service of Secretary and other officers and staff of the Lokayukta shall be such as may be prescribed from time to time.CHAPTER - III Inquiry Wing
