(1)The Registrar shall be a whole-time salaried officer of the University. The terms of appointment and conditions of services shall be such as may be prescribed.(2)The holder of the post of Registrar shall possess the qualifications prescribed by the University Grants Commission.(3)The Registrar shall have the power to enter into agreements, sign documents and authenticate records on behalf of the University and shall exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be prescribed.(4)The Registrar shall be the ex-officio Secretary of the Executive Council and the Academic Council.
