Section 44(3) in Andhra Pradesh Municipal Councils/Nagar Panchayats (Direct Election of Chairperson) Rules, 1986
(3)No person shall at any election vote in the same ward more than once notwithstanding that his name has been registered in the electoral roll for that ward more than once and if he does so vote, all his votes in that ward shall be void.
