SHRI RAMULU POTHUGANTI (NAGARKURNOOL): Sir, Nagarkurnool parliamentary constituency is a very backward region comprising of seven Assembly Segments spread over three districts of Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy and Gadwal. The people of my constituency are depending upon agriculture. It is learnt that 40 Mega Food Parks (MFPs) are in various stages of implementation under Mega Food Park Scheme of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana. Out of these, 18 MFPs have been operationalised till date.
I would, therefore, urge upon the Union Government and the hon. Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare to kindly consider my request and sanction a Mega Food Park in my Nagarkurnool parliamentary constituency of Telangana State which will be beneficial to the farmers to a great extent.
