Section 11 in The Orissa Forest Shooting Rules, 1973
11. Restriction on 11 number of beaters, followers etc.
- The competent authority may enter in the permit-(a)the maximum number of persons entitled to shoot in addition to the permit-holder;(b)the maximum number of retainers or followers or beaters or dogs or other animals which the permit-holder may take into the forest for retrieving or flushing purposes;(c)the maximum number of elephants which the permit-holder may take to the forest or for which he may obtain fodder from the forest;(d)the particular area or location in the shooting block, where beating, for any reason, may be prohibited.The permit-holder shall abide by the conditions of such permit.
