Section 48(1) in Sher-I-Kashmir Universities of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Act, 1982
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act and tile Statutes made thereunder appointments to posts and services in connection with the affairs of tile University may be made by the Vice-Chancellor the approval of the concerned authority:Provided that such approval shall not be necessary in respect of appointments to posts carrying scales of pay, tile maximum of which does not exceed the maximum of tile scale of an Assistant Professor.
