Section 30 in The Punjab Aerial Ropeways Act, 1926
30. Acquisition of land on behalf of a promoter.
- The [State] Government may, if it thinks fit, subject to the provisions of this Act, on the application of any promoter desirous of obtaining any land for the purpose of constructing, extending, working or managing an aerial ropeway acquire on his behalf such land under the provisions of part VII of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, whether the said promoter is or is not a company as defined in the Land Acquisition Act.
