(2)The village panchayat or panchayat union council, as the case may be, may empower the committee appointed by it under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 96 of the Act for the efficient performance of its duties and functions under sub-section (1) of section 133 of the Act, to regulate the turns of irrigation.
