Section 52 in The Tamil Nadu Co-Operative Societies Act, 1983
52. Investment by Government in registered societies.
(1)The Government may subscribe directly to the share capital of a registered society.(2)Notwithstanding any agreement to the contrary, the Government shall not be entitled to any dividend on the shares taken by them with any such registered society at a rate higher than that at which such dividend is payable in respect of any other share in that society.
