3. Scope Of Regulations And Extent Of Application.
(1)Subject to the provisions of the Act, Rules and Policies, these Regulations shall apply in all cases of determination of Transmission Tariff under Section 62 of the Act. It shall however, not apply in the case where tariff has been determined through a transparent process of bidding in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Central Government as per the provisions of Section 63 of the Act.(2)In accordance with the principles laid out in these Regulations, the Commission shall determine the Aggregate Revenue Requirement (ARR) for the Transmission Business.
