3. Establishment of Commission.
(1)With effect from such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint, there shall be established a Commission by the name of the West Bengal Heritage Commission.(2)The Commission shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire, hold and dispose of property and to contract and shall, by the said name, sue or be sued.
