Section 68(d) in Gauhati Municipal Corporation Act, 1971
(d)Subject to the orders of the standing Committees exercise supervision and control over the act and proceedings of the said officers and employees and subject to the regulations, dispose of all questions relating to the service, remuneration and privileges of the said officers and employees.
