Delay condoned.

We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. These special leave petitions have been filed against interlocutory order dated 17.12.2018, by which the High Court granted conditional stay of the execution proceedings. The execution proceedings are still pending, which according to learned counsel for the petitioner is for an amount of more than Rs.4 Signature Not Verified Digitally signed by ARJUN BISHT Date: 2020.12.04 crores.

In the facts of the present case, we are of the view that the 1 High Court should endeavour to decide the writ petition at an early date.
Looking to the fact that the execution proceedings are stayed, the decree is dated 10.04.2014 and the suit was filed in the year 1998, we request the High Court to dispose of the writ petition at an early date preferably within a period of six months from today. The special leave petitions stand disposed of.
