(2)All functionaries under the Act shall be deemed to be public servants, and hence be legally accountable for the performance of the duties assigned to them. Further all voluntary organizations, social workers and others voluntering under this Act shall be accountable to the competent authorities and the Inspection Committees/Social Audit.
