Section 101 in The Medicinal And Toilet Preparations (Excise Duties) Rules, 1955

101. Examination at the place of export.

- On arrival at the place of export, the goods shall be presented, together with the duplicate application to the Customs Collector, Border Examiner, or any officer, of customs or land customs duly appointed for the purpose. The consignment shall be carefully examined and check weighed and if the seals are intact and the case or the packages correspond with the description given in the application, and the particulars stated in the duplicate application and the original received from the officer at the place of dispatch agree in all respects, the Customs Collector, Border Examiner, or any such officer of customs shall allow export and shall then certify on the duplicate application that the goods have been duly exported (citing in the case of exports by sea or air, the shipping bill number and date and other particulars of export) and return it to the exporter.
