(2)Should the State Government decide to raise the number of members of an existing Committee from 9 to 16, the additional vacancies shall be filled in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) and the term of office of the additional members appointed shall be the unexpired portion of the term of the existing members of the Committee.[17A.
