(1)If the Chief Inspector of Mines or an Inspector during his inspection of any mine, finds or comes to know of any contravention of any provisions of the Act or the regulations, rules, bye-laws or orders made thereunder, he shall either himself intimate or cause the same to be intimated to the owner, agent or manager of the mine, of such contravention for their rectification.
