Section 2 in The Rajasthan Shops and Commercial Establishment Rules, 1959
2. Definitions.
- (i) In these rules, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context:-(a)The "Act" means the Rajasthan Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958.(b)"Form" means a form appended to these rules.(c)"Section" means a section of the Act.(d)[ "Prescribed authority" means the authority notified in the official gazette by the Government from time to time.] [Added vide Dated 19-7-1978, published in Rajasthan Gazette Extraordinary, part IV-C, dated 10-8-1978, page 217.](ii)Words and expressions used in the Act and not defined in these rules shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Act.
