80. Disclosure of information by a public servant.
- The provisions of section 54 of the Indian Income-tax Act, 1922 (XI of 1922), shall apply to all accounts, statements, documents, evidence or affidavits, given, produced or obtained in connection with or in the course of the proceedings under this Act :Provided that nothing in the said section 54 shall apply to the disclosures of any such particulars to any person acting in the execution of this Act or of the Indian Income-tax Act, 1922 (XI of 1922), where it is necessary or desirable to disclose the same to him for the purposes of either this Act or the said Act.
