Section 6(d) in Uttarakhand Technical University Act, 2005
(d)to hold examinations for, and to grant and confer degrees or other academic distinctions to and on, persons who-(i)have pursued a course of study in a college; or(ii)have carried on research in a college recognized in that behalf by the University, under conditions laid down in the Regulations.
