ORDER
1. Grievance in the application filed by the applicant Mr. Dashrath Singh Parihar relates to illegal stone mining in forest area of Mohangarh, Khairona Beet, Forest Division of Distt. Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh. It is submitted that Forest Department is unable to stop the illegal mining in reserved forest and this has caused damage to the environment.
2. Having regard to the seriousness of the allegation, it appears necessary to ascertain the factual position in the matter through a joint committee of State PCB, Mines and Geological Department, State of Madhya Pradesh, Regional Office of MoEF&CC at Bhopal, DFO-Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh) and District Magistrate- Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh) to look into the grievance in this application. The State PCB will be the Nodal agency for coordination and compliance. The joint Committee may meet within one month and undertake site visit and look into the 1 grievance of the applicant. Factual and action taken report may be furnished within three months before the Ld. Registrar, General, National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench at New Delhi by e-mail at judicial- [email protected] preferably in the form of searchable PDF/OCR Support PDF and not in the form of Image PDF, who may if necessary put up the matter before the Bench for directions.
List the matter for consideration on 20.05.2022. A copy of this order, along with a copy of the complaint, be forwarded to the State PCB, Mines and Geological Department, State of Madhya Pradesh, Regional Office of MoEF&CC at Bhopal, DFO-Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh) and District Magistrate- Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh) by e-mail for compliance.
