7. Diseases declared to be infectious and contagious.
- No person suffering from any infectious or contagious diseases including the following, shall travel by the metro railway, namely :-(a)Cerebra-Spinal meningitis;(b)chicken-pox;(c)cholera;(d)diphtheria;(e)measles;(f)mumps;(g)scarlet fever;(h)typhus fever;(i)typhoid fever;(j)whooping cough; and(k)any other disease declared as contagious and highly infectious by Central or State Government.[***] [Omitted 'Provided that a closed (non-infective) leprosy patient carrying a certificate from a registered medical practitioner certifying him to be non-infective may travel by the metro railway' by Notification No. G.S.R. 839(E), dated 6.9.2018 (w.e.f. 28.10.2014).].
