Section 62(9)(ag) in Bihar Factories Rules, 1950

(ag)The use of spiral stair case shall be limited to low occupant lead and to a building of height of 9 meters, unless they are connected to platforms such as balconies and terraces to allow escapes to pause. A spiral staircase shall be not less than 300 cm. diameter and have adequate head room.
