(1)The Librarian shall be a whole time officer of the University appointed by the Syndicate on the recommendation of the Selection Committee constituted for the purpose, for such period and on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed.(2)The Librarian shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be assigned as him by the Syndicate.
