68. Quarantine Leave.
- Quarantine leave is leave of absence from duty necessitated by orders not to attend office in consequence of the presence of infectious diseases in the family or in the house hold of a teacher. Quarantine leave may be granted on the certificate of the Medical or Public Health Officer for a period not exceeding 21 days or in exceptional cases 30 days. Any leave necessary for quarantine purpose in excess of this period shall be treated as ordinaiy leave. A teacher on quarantine leave is not treated as absent from duty and his pay is not affected.
