(4)The term of office of the members of the [Executive Council] [Words substituted for the word 'Board' by W. B. Act 31 of 1981], other than the ex officio members, shall be [four years] [Words substituted for the word 'three years' by W.B. Act 21 of 1996.] and a member shall be eligible to serve more than one term :[Provided that the member elected under clause (xiii) of sub-section (2) shall hold office for three years or till he ceases to be a student, whichever is earlier] [Proviso added by W. B. Act 31 of 1981.].
