138. Procedure where two or more local authorities have contributed towards cost of bridge.
- When the Board with any other local authority having jointly constructed, purchased or contributed towards the cost of the construction or widening of a bridge, have received the sanction of the State Government to the establishment of a toll-bar the toll shall be levied or granted in lease by such local authority as the State Government may, in it other according sanction, direct and the proceeds or such tolls, or of the lease thereof, shall, be adjusted between the local authorities according to rules made in this behalf by the State Government, provided that where one of the local authorities concerned is a cantonment authority, the powers of the State Government under this section shall be exercisable only with the concurrence of the Central Government.
