Section 29(2) in The Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University Act, 1998
(2)The Academic Council shall consist of the following members, namely:-(i)The Vice-Chancellor ex-officio Chairman.(ii)The Director of the University.(iii)The Dean of each Faculty.(iv)Associate Deans.(v)The Heads of Departments.(vi)One representative from Veterinary Council of India.(vii)One academic staff member from each Faculty, other than the Head of the Department, elected by the Faculty.The Registrar shall be ex-officio Secretary to the Academic Council.
