Section 16(1) in Sher-I-Kashmir Universities of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Act, 1982
(1)There shall be a Research Council consisting of the following members, namely:-(i)The Vice-Chancellor, Ex-Officio Chairman;(ii)The Director Agriculture;(iii)The Director Horticulture;(iv)The Director Sheep Husbandry;(v)The Director Animal Husbandry;(vi)The Chief Conservator of Forests;(vii)The Director of Fisheries;(viii)All the Directors of the University (Director Research will act, as Member-Secretary);(ix)All Deans of the Faculties;(x)All Heads of the Divisions/Regional Research Stations/College ;(xi)Two Scientists of eminence from outside to be nominated for particular meetings by the Vice-Chancellor for their specialized knowledge of subject or subjects on the agenda of the meeting;(xii)[ Project Planning and Monitoring Officer.] [Substituted by Act VIII of 1998.]
