Heard on I.A.No. 01/2018, application for suspension of sentence and grant to bail to the appellant.
The appellant stands convicted and sentenced to undergo RI for life and fine of Rs. 25,000/- u/s 302 IPC with default stipulation, as ordered on 30/06/2014 by the Additional Sessions Judge, Kunkuri, District Jashpur (C.G.) in Session Trial No. 69/2013.
Looking to the statement of PW/4 - Shriram Agrawal, PW/5 - Smt. Shyam Bala Agrawal to whom the extra judicial confession has been made by the appellant and looking to the RFSL report - Ex.P/1 which indicates that the human blood was found on the underwear and vest of the appellant which were seized from him, this Court is not inclined to suspend the sentence and release the appellant on bail.
Consequently, I.A.No.1/2018 being devoid of merits deserve to be and is hereby dismissed.
