(2)On receipt of an application under sub-rule (1), District Excise Officer shall make such inquiries as he deems necessary and if he is satisfied that there is no objection to grant of licence applied for, he may, grant the applicant a licence in Form M Ill-A on payment of a fee of rupee 1/-.
