Section 96(3) in The Displaced Persons (Compensation and Rehabilitation) Rules, 1955
(3)No application for the payment of a rehabilitation grant under this rule shall be entertained unless it is made within ninety days from the date of the publication of a notification inviting such applications;Provided that any such application may be entertained after the said date if the Settlement Commissioner is satisfied that the applicant was prevented by sufficient cause from filing the application in time.
