Section 2(a) in Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Construction Workers) Welfare Scheme, 1994
(a)"Act" means the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 1982);(aa)[ "family" ,means- [Inserted by G.O. Ms. No. 122, dated 24.10.2008, published dated 31.10.2008.](i)in the case of male member, his wife, children whether married or unmarried, dependent parents and the widow and children of the deceased son of the member;(ii)in case of a female member, her husband, children, dependent parents and widow and children of a deceased son of the member;]
