Section 27(6) in Rabindranath Tagore University Act, 2017
(6)Subject to the provisions of this Act and the statutes, it shall appoint the officers (other than the Chancellor and the Vice-Chancellor), teachers, office and technical staff and other employees of the University and define their duties and conditions of service and shall provide for the filling up of temporary vacancies.
