Section 306(1) in The Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976
(1)Where any building or part of a building is intended to be let in which any person has, within six weeks immediately proceeding, been suffering from a dangerous disease, the person letting the building or part shall, before doing so disinfect the same in such manner as the Commissioner may by general or special notice direct together with all articles therein liable to retain infection.
