Section 48(2) in Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority Act, 1985
(2)If the Authority is opposed or obstruct in evicting such persons or taking possession of land from such persons, the District Magistrate, within whose jurisdiction the land is situated, shall on the application of the Authority, enforce the eviction of such persons or secure delivery if possession of the land to the Authority.
