Section 41 in Jharkhand Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites, Remains and Art Treasures Act, 2016
41. Ancient monuments etc. no longer requiring protection.
- If the State Government are of opinion that it is no longer necessary to protect any ancient and historical monument or archaeological site and remains under the provisions of this Act it may, by notification in the Official Gazette, declare that the ancient and historical monument or archeological site and remains as the case may be has ceased to be protected monument or a protected area for the purpose of this Act.
