Section 3 in The Andhra Pradesh Prevention Of Begging Act, 1977
3. Begging in public place an offence
(1)No person shall beg in a public place after the commencement of this Act and it shall be an offence punishable under this Act, if any person is found begging in a public place.(2)Any person who is found begging in a public place shall be liable to be punished under Section 27 or dealt with in the manner provided in Chapter III
