- In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, -(a)"appointed day" means the date appointed under sub-section (2) of section 1;(b)"the hospital" means the Sagore Dutt Hospital at Kamarhatty in the district of 24-Parganas, together with the charitable dispensary attached thereto.
