40. The Librarian.
(1)The Librarian shall be appointed by the University Governing Council in accordance with the Statutes and shall be responsible to that Council for the purchase, cataloguing, maintenance, issuance and receipt of books and journals and for all other matters including digital system concerning the Library.(2)The salary and allowances and other conditions of service of the Librarian shall be such as may be prescribed.
