Section 23(2) in The Orissa Minimum Wages Rules, 1954
(2)Where in accordance with the provisions of Sub-rule (1) any worker works on the said day and has had a holiday on one of the five days immediately preceding it, the said day shall, for the purposes of calculating his weekly hours of work, be included in the preceding week.Explanation - For the purposes of this rule 'week' shall mean a period of seven days beginning at midnight on Saturday night.
