Section 17 in The Government Of Union Territories Act, 1963
17. Salaries and allowances of members.
Members of the Legislative Assembly of [the Union territory] [Substituted by Act 18 of 1987, Section 65 (w.e.f. 30-5-1987)] shall be entitled to receive such salaries and allowances as may from time to time be determined by the Legislative Assembly of the Union territory by law and, until provision in that behalf is so made, such salaries and allowances as the Administrator may, with the approval of the President, by order determine.
