(4)[ The powers of inspection conferred on the Registrar by this section may be exercised by him of his own motion in respect of any society, which is indebted to Government or for which share capital (wholly or partly) is provided by Government or where any financial interest of Government is otherwise involved.] [Sub-section (4) was added by Maharashtra 3 of 1974, Section 20.]
