(1)This Act may be called the Punjab Local Option Act, 1923.(2)It extends to [Punjab.] [Vide Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.](3)[It shall come into force] [Vide Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] on date as the State Government may by notification appoint in this behalf.
