46AAA. [ Special Provisions. [Inserted by T.N. Act No. 1 of 2011, w.e.f 21.12.2010.]
- Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act or the rules made or orders issued under this Act, until the ordinary election to be held in the year 2011, the territorial area of the divisions of the city, the total number of divisions and the total number of councillors shall be the same as they exist before the commencement of the Chennai City Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Act, 2011.]
