(1)The Government of Madras and the Government of Mysore shall, for a period of five years form the appointed day, make available to the Government of Andhra the jails and other institutions specified in Part I and Part II respectively of the Eighth Schedule for the reception and detention of persons committed to, or ordered to be detained in, such jails or institutions by any court, tribunal or other authority in the State of Andhra.
