Section 51(2) in The City of Nagpur Corporation Act, 1948
(2)A person appointed under this section to act for any officer or servant shall, while so acting, perform the same duties and exercise the same powers and be subject to the same liabilities, restrictions and conditions to which the said officer or servant is liable; and shall receive such pay and allowances as-may be provided in the rules or by-laws.
