Section 19(2) in Payment of Wages (Mines) Rules, 1956
(2)The advance may be recovered in instalments by deductions from the wages spread over not more than twelve months in the case of an ordinary advance and twenty-four months in the case of an advance granted in exceptional circumstances. In no case shall be amount of an instalment exceed one-fourth of the wages earned in a wage-period.
